This network diagram maps how every tool, database, protocol, and dataset in the Plastiverse directory relates to the others. Solid lines mark relationships a curator has confirmed; dashed lines mark resources that share a category, computed automatically. Drag any node to reposition it, scroll to zoom, and click a node to open that resource’s full entry.
How to read the graph
Each dot is one resource. Color marks its primary type: blue for databases, orange for tools, green for devices, and gray for everything else — reports, protocols, training materials, and the directory’s smaller categories. A solid line connects two resources a curator has manually linked as genuinely related. A faint dashed line connects two resources that share a resource type and at least one topic — a starting point for exploration, not a confirmed recommendation.
Why this exists
A keyword search returns one matching resource at a time. This view shows what surrounds it: which databases feed which analytical tools, which devices share a detection method, and which parts of the directory remain isolated because no comparable resource has been added yet.
Filter and search
Use the search box to filter by title or organization, or select a resource type to highlight that category — everything else dims without leaving the graph, so you can see how a subset connects to the rest of the directory.
